MughTrah ibne-Shu'bah Radiyallahu 'anhu narrates that he heard Nabi Sallallahu 'alaihi wasallam saying:

One day two scholars were discussing in Markaz Nizamuddin on the arrival of Imam Mehdi Alaihissalam .
One Scholar was insisting that as per signs in Hadith he is about to come another one was telling that as signs are indicated in Hadith it has not completed and it is still late .
Matter reached to Maulana Inamul hasan Rahimullah He listned both arguements and told them
Is this will be asked from you on the day of Qiyamah.?
Allah knows when he will come, You do what is in your concern and beneficial for you (and humanity)

Here asking too many means unnecessary means unuseful to your Emaan and Amaal e Saliha, your life here and life hereafterThings that will not asked from you in dunia and Akhirah.
