There are some video clips on you tube concerning Dr.Israr Ahmad Rahmatullah Alaihi. and Tablighi Jamaat.These are being spreaded in a wrong manner with different titles and Subtitles.
Letus discuss the raised issue in Islamic Perspective.
Some Clarification .
1.This is not an official reply of Tablighi Jamaat.
2.Tablighi Jamaat elders are of the view that work for Islam in different field are complimentary to each other. It is common part of dua of Tabligh elders that whosoever is working for deen in different field by different methods,May allah accept them all and making them means give Hidayat for Mankind

2. Dr.Israr Ahmad Rahmatullah Alaihi was a respectable figure of last 50 years who strived for the establishment of Islamic Shariah Rule in Pakistan through his speeches and writings. We appreciate his effort.May Allah accept his effort and give him Jannatul firdaus.
4. Dr. Israr Sb and his organization Tanzeem e Islami Scope of work and effort and his aim of establishing Shariah Rule is limited to Pakistan which has a Muslim Majority islamic state at least on paper .
His talk and opinion on methodolgy of Dawah is according to his aim about Pakistan.
5. His talk on the subject of methology of Dawah may not have that much relation in those countries where Muslims are in Minority that is the case of Major part of the world, whole Europe, America,China,India areas having nearly 80% of human Population.

3.With refrence to Tablighi Jamaat we noticed his three video are on you tube.

In it he has said that after parting from Jamaate Islami in 1967 for sometimes he worked with Tablighi Jamaat also.He did not go to Jamaat for long but went for three days with local brothers.He attended an ijtema. In this video he praised Tablighi Jamaat for many qualities of Ikhlas Taqwa and has praised whatever they are doing without raising any doubts on its methodology.

In third video He made some remarks that touched some points of Islamic Dawah.
1. He was asked a question that “as compared to other Muslim Organization What is distinguished quality of your Organization whose name was tanzeem e Islami.

2. It is obvious that question was Provocative that someone asking you what is special about you. And Dr.Israr Ahmad started with a tone exhibiting this question as a disliked question.
3. Then he first described that his work is special as it is for Establishment of Islamic Shariah in Pakistan and he said that all other works like Madarsas ,Islah, Tabligh is not for establishment for Islamic shariah.
4. He did not elaborated detail of his own methodology for establishing the shariah. That how the giving lectures and books will bring a revolution in society where majority of people are away from deen,and not establishing shariah in their own life will bring shariah ruling.At some places 80-90 % people are even not offering prayers the basic of deen.
In this 6 minute talk very little was discussed how his organization is working, its Programme and Plan for the aim of establishing shariah.Otherwise the final aim of all muslim organization is to bring the 100% command of Allah and path of Muhammad Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam that includes Islamic Shariah also.
5.Then he started a different topic and raised two point that are actually general but he took the name of Tablighi Jamaat.
His first Point.
He gave example Tablighi Jamaat from Pakistan goes to America if American nonmuslims ask them that
1. What you have come to teach us.(Tum hamein kya sikhlane aye ho)
2. You are like our slaves (hamare Gulam ho)
3. You are Downthrown. (zaleel ho/Khar ho)
4.Your Politician are corrupt.They are looting country (Tumhare yahan kadodon ke Gaban hote
1.First of all this is not confined to any particular organization or America.
This question is for all Muslims.The affairs of Muslims are so bad that any Nonmuslim can ask this question to any muslim not only to Tablighi Jamaat.
Dr.Israr Ahmad himself came to India 7-8 years back and I also met him, he gave lectures here on Islam so if a Hindu Brothers of India ask Dr Israr Sb. the same set of questions.WHY YOU HAVE COME TO INDIA FOR PREACHING, WHEN YOUR COUNTRY IS FULL OF CORRUPTION etc

The answer is from life of Prophet S.A.W.and Shaba............
1.It is important to care for own locality first that’s why Prophet gave first Dawah to his tribe Quraish and to makkan people ………But he did not waited for final result of acceptance. Very famous Journey of Taif is their he went and presented Islam.Even he went the people of different places and countries like karvan of Syria, Yemen that eventually paved the way of meeting with people of Madeena and hijrah and consequent spread of Islam…..It gives the direction that one has to start from own place but not to wait for correction for all, Even far away people may accept and may become better muslim and Daee of deen than people from your locality or country.

Dr. Saheb said that the Jamaat of Sahaba sent outside was for fighting battle. They were army and not preachers for Tabligh (in his words woh to faujein thin inhone Iran ko fatah kiya Sham ko fatah kiya woh tableeghi jamaat nahi thin)
We always forget the other side of coin here that No Army went to/no fighting took place in Indonesia ,malaysia,south Indis, North Africa for spread of Islam.

Discussion
Actually some Orientalist historian (Mushtashriqeen) always projected Shaba as warrior. They alleged that Islam was spreaded by help of Army and sword.
More or less it has affected Muslims intellectuals and historian and general Muslims also. And most of the Muslims think on that line.
Dr. Israr gave example of Iran victory.
If you get detail history, their has been full Dawah to king Rustam before battle.
There went at least three delegation of Sahaba on different days and gave Dawah of Islam to king Rusatm. But he did not accepted.

At that time it was necessary that if you have to spread message of Allah you have to defeat the king. Otherwise their was no option to reach the common people and mankind,So sahaba fought the battle under strict Islamic guidelines wherever it was necessary.
It is in our mind only comes the picture of Iran and Syria and we think that Islam spreaded because of Army and fighting. It is a misconception that Islam spreaded by Armies and warriors.
Example of Spread of Islam by peaceful means.

where no muslim Army came rather Sahaba Jamaat came.Some 12-13 sahaba graves are reported in kerala. In Malabar region of Kerala percentage is from 40-80% of Muslims.
Islam is the fastest growing religion in America and Europe.

No compulsion in religion.
With which sword was Islam spread? Even if Muslims had it they could not use it to spread Islam forcefully because the Qur’an says in the following verse:
“Let there be no compulsion in religion: Truth stands out clear from error”
[Al-Qur’an 2:256]
But there is Sword of the Wisdom, Intellect love, mercy and Passion for mankind.
These sword that conquers the hearts and minds of people. The Qur’an says in Surah Nahl, chapter 16 verse 125:
“Invite (all) to the way of thy Lord with wisdom and beautiful preaching; and argue with them in ways that are best and most gracious.”
[Al-Qur’an 16:125].
Again we are stressing that purpose of article is not to reply the criticism of Marhoom Dr. Israr Ahmad Sb Rahmatullah Alaihi.
But it was necessary because some ignorant brothers knowingly /unknowingly hurting the cause of Islam by using the name of Dr. Israr Sb. and propagating their agenda of hurting the cause of Dawah and Tabligh and indirectly causing damage to the cause of Islam.

May Allah give Dr Israr Ahmab sb Janaatul firdaus and give taufeeq to the Muslims /muslim organisations to understand and co-operate with each other with Ikhlas and for the sake of Islam.
