Chapter 1
The Research Questions Discussed in this
article has been divided into two Categories
Category 1.
Detail about Islamic Aqeedah (Ahle Sunnat Wal Jamaat Aqeedah)
Category 2.
The Questions in relation with Tablighi Jamaat Dawah Effort and Aqeedah & Tawheed.
Category 1.
Detail about Islamic Aqeedah (Ahle Sunnat Wal Jamaat Aqeedah)
It is an unfortunate but
an open secret that a great majority* of Muslims all over the world has very
little knowledge about Islamic Aqeedah.
(Among those who are not
attending Madarsaas/Islamic Schools/Islamic universities. By an estimate
in India only 4% of Muslims join Islamic institutions. Rest 96% either attends
schools with no Islamic education or do not receive any education at all. )
We became surprised and astonished that
many of the Muslims who are alleging on
other individual/organization about wrong Aqeedah themselves not knowing the
basics of Islamic Aqeedah. Some of them did even not know the Hadith of
Jibraeel which entais the articles of Islamic faith.
So it was considered of paramount importance to deal The
Basics and detail about Islamic Aqeedah for the benefit of general Muslims.
Here if a
question comes to your mind that Aqeedah of which group you are going to describe?
Then for your kind information we
will describe the Aqeedah of Islam followed by Salafus salehin
and not of any group/Individual.
Islamic Aqeedah
is only one type that was followed by Salafus salehin and it is free
from any confusion. It was there when none of the present groups were there and
it will remain till the day of Qiyamah as Allah has promised so.
It will be described the under following headings.
1.
Aqeedah Definition, its Meaning and Importance of
Aqeedah in Islam.
2.
The Source of Islamic Aqeedah
3.
The Six Articles of Islamic Aqeedah (Faith/Islamic
Creed)
4.
Importance of Tawheed in Islam and Scholars
classification of three category of Tawheed.

Category 2.
The Questions in relation with Tablighi Jamaat Dawah Effort and Aqeedah & Tawheed.
1.
What is
importance of Aqeedah and Tawheed in Dawah programme of Tablighi
Jamaat?
2.
Does Tablighi
Jamaat negelects Tawheed in its Dawah Programme?
3.
Does Tablighi Jamaat not tell and believe on , Tawhid Al-Uluhiyyah and Tawheed
Asma o Sifat ?
(An allegation by Some
Salafi* Brothers)
4.
Do Tablighi
Jamaat Brothers anything contrary to
Tawhid Al-Uluhiyyah and Tawheed Asma o Sifat
5.
Is Tablighi Jamaat are Grave Worshipper as alleged
by Some ?
(An allegation by Some
Salafi* Brothers)
6.
Is Tablighi
Jamaat spreading shirk and Bidah.
(An allegation by Some
Salafi* Brothers)
7.
What is Tablighi Jamaat methodology to correct
Bidats Practices and implied or clear Shirk on Graves of Aulia Allah, and
Similar other Practices.
*1.Who are Salafis? (To whom we are referring here as
Salafi?)
World
Salafi has been derived from Salfussalehin and is a broad term and all
those who will follow Quran and Sunnah as explained by Salfussalehin are
salafi. And every Muslim should be salafi as we all should follow Quran and
Sunnah as explained by Salfussalehin. With this correct definition all the Great
Imams, Scholars, Muhaddith were Salafi. A great Majority of them were follower
of one of four Imama of jurisprudence (eg Imam Haneefa, Shafaee,Malik,Ahmad
Rahimullah).
But there is a paradox. Majority of the
Imams, Muhaddith, and Scholars were not salafi by definition of group salafi or
in the manner the word salafi being used in last 4-5 decades.....
Although
the use of word salafi to designate the true path or to call oneself/anyone as
salafi is itself disputed and their is divergent opinion. The view of many including
famous Speaker Dr. zakir Naik is that it
is not right to call themselves as Sunni/salafi/Hanafi/Shafaee/Hanbali/Maliki
and he proves his view from quran and sunnah. He opines Rather we should call
ourselves as Muslim only. In the words of Zakir Naik “we are first the Muslim
and last the Muslim”.(And Allah knows the best.)
(Among
present day people/organisation who are identified as word salafi, also many
subgroups have come up as Dr. zakir Naik in one of his talk says which type of
salafi you are? He named Qutubi,Sururi,Madkhali, Jamiat Ahle Hadith,Gurba Ahle
Hadith, and so on.)
We
would like to clear that what we mean from the word Salafi in this discussion,
or who are being referred as Salafi in this article
Here
without going into all these above detail and criteria here with the word
Salafi we are taking all those individual and groups who call themselves as
Salafi or others know them as Salafi. So we have included even those person/scholars in
this discussion who are not salafi even on minimum basic criteria. Although
we donot consider them as Salafi/Ahle Hadith but as they claim and others
believe so we are referring.
So here
we are not referring the true salafis as salafis rather all salafis including
the false one.
THIS IS A RESEARCH ARTICLE TO FIND THE TRUTH AND NOT A REPLY TO
ANYONE
Tablighi Jamaat elders has no media contact and
they don’t involve in any groupism or Polemic debate. And they have a written
policy of not to reply or counterattack for any allegation.
Maulana
Inamul Hasan (R.A.)(died 1995) the former Amir of Tableeghi Jamaat has said."It
is better that in case the objections and criticism if they are correct,
rectify them .{No one is free from shortcomings} Whereas if they are wrong
,have patience (leave the matter to Allah)."
In the meantime some
Muslim brothers started a propaganda campaign with the help of internet/you
tube/TV Channels…..
1. Tablighi Jamaat cares only about Aaaml e Saliha
(Good deeds) but it doesnot care about Faith (Aqeedah).
2.
Some brothers claimed that their Faith (Aqeedah) is weak and Trust
in the oneness of Allah (Tawheed) is
weak.
Some
good Muslims of good intention also joined this propaganda without checking the
correctness of facts directly
They base their talk/article on some other
Talks/article and donot check it correctness by this way the wrong information
once started enters into a vicious cycle. This is violation of this Rule
of our beloved
prophet Muhammad ﷺ in Sahih Muslim.
‹‹كفى بالمرء كذبا أن
يحدِّثَ بكلِّ ما سمع››
Sayyidina Abu Hurairah
(RA) narrated that Sayyidina Rasul-ullah (Sallaho Alaihe Wassallam) said,
"It is enough falsehood for a person to transmit everything he
hears." [Muslim]
In this Article we will search the truth behind
this matter.
As Allah pak says in Quran to verify the report
reaching to you.
[49:6] O you who believe, if a sinful person brings you a report, verify its correctness, lest you should harm a people out of ignorance, and then become remorseful on what you did.
[49:6] O you who believe, if a sinful person brings you a report, verify its correctness, lest you should harm a people out of ignorance, and then become remorseful on what you did.
Tablighi Jamaat aim objective is that each and every Muslim adopts the Islamic way in all aspects of life. They are doing effort to bring deen (the commands of Allah and path of Muhammad Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) in the life of all mankind to start with those who have already accepted Allah their lord and Muhammad as their massanger.
INVESTIGATION
1.
Does
tablighi jamaat Ulema /Scholars talks about tawheed in emphatic way?
Tabligh is a mass
movement and people of different Scholarly caliber and capabilities
are in Tablighi Jamaat.
1. In the background of Allegation of Neglect of

We also went through
the compiled Books of lectures and sayings of Maulana Ilyas, Maulana Yusuf,
Maulana Umar Palanpuri,Maulana Inamul Hasan Rahimullah
2. These scholars were from different Background.
Most of them were formal Aalim from Islamic Institutes. Some like Professor

Quran and Hadith. His personal library has a number of Tafseer and Hadith
Books.
3. When Scholars and Ulema of Tablighi Jamaat

General Muslims Talk in Tabligh Gathering).
6. General public may not quote relevant Quran
Ayats and Ahadith for explaining Tawheed.
INVESTIGATION 2.
Does tablighi Worker (Non Scholar) talks tawheed ?
General Muslims of
tablighi Jamaat while giving individual talk in meeting etc may not quote
relevant Quran Ayats and Ahadith for explaining Tawheed.
Rather general
public are not encouraged to quote Ayats because chances of mistakes are
there and this mistake in deen is not permissible.
But
they always emphasise Tawheed.
Some
common Sentences/Phrases of General Muslims Talks and of their Routine Tabligh
Gatherings are following
(You can check and confirm
it by going in Jamaat or sitting in your mosque.)
a. They say “Only Allah has power. No one other
than Allah has ANY power All are creation. Allah is having all qualities that

called for any help”.

g. They say “A human's internal treasure is his yaqeen (Faith), and
his a’mal (action); if his inner actions are good then Allah will create a
state of inner success, even if material possession is
totally exhausted.

rububiyat (the total sustenance and maintenance power) we will have to relate
incidents from the lives of the prophets and companions.
r. We will have to think about it in solitude and
get this same yaqeen/strong Faith to enter in our heart, to which we gave
dawaah in gatherings. That is the truth.
s. And then we have to cry to Allah, beg him to

These all are Tawheed of most Emphatic term. After all these if
someone says/makes allegation that Tablighi Jamaat are not describe Tawheed. It
is not justified at all.
Then there is no answer except for waiting the day of judgment
to see the claim of these groups. Day of judgement is not far. May Allah guide

Tablighi
Jamaat Stress on Six Qualities. What is Place of Emaan in it?
Tablighi Jamaat in
its programme stress on six qualities to bring in our ife the. They do daily
reminder about it
These are
1.Emaan
2. Slat with Khushu and Khuzu(with sifat e Ihsan) 3.Knowledge and
Remeberance of Allah
4.Ikram e Muslim (Right of all with special respect for Muslims)
5. Ikhlas e Niyat (Sincertity of Intention
6. Dawat e Ilallah (Calling people
towards Allah)
Out of Six Quality
the first is Emaan/Kalima
Quotes From book Muslim Degeneration and its remeady that is read in Tablighi Jamaat.
How it explain the importance of
Emaan and strong faith (the Aqeedah).

(Below passage is from chaptor Muslim Degeneration and its remeady page no 6-7)
“It is
obvious from the above ayah of the Quran that the early generation of Muslims
had attained that high position in life because of the purity and strength of
their Eemaan (faith) and the excellence of their character.
As against this, the miserable condition of the present day Muslims is the result of weakness in their faith and character, the opposite of what their forefathers possessed.
Therefore, it will be right to say that today we are Muslims in name only!
In this connection, the true Messenger of Allah (Subhanahu wa Taala)
Mohammed (Sallallaho Alaihi wassallam), had prophesied. An era will come in the near future when Islam will exist merely in name and the Quran will exist merely in writing (Mishkat).
This is clearly applicable to the Muslims of the present time.
In these circumstances, the points which need urgent investigation are:
· As the level of Eeman, which can have the approval of Allah (Subhanahu wa Taala) and His Rasul (Sallallaho Alaihi wassallam) (and which will bring us spiritual and material advancement). is not to be seen anywhere,
what will be the means of acquiring that true faith and
what are the factors that have caused the destruction of that faithand with it the true life of Islam, from our midst?
A study of the Quran clearly reveals that the capacity to maintain the required level of the true faith of Islam, and the ultimate rise to honor and fame through it, are dependent on the fulfillment of a special task which has been so graciously assigned by Allah (Subhanahu wa Taala) to the Muslims alone
. It is for this that they have been given in the Quran the distinguished position of Khair al-umam (the best of all Ummah)
According to the faith of Islam, the main purpose behind the creation of this world was to establish and prove the holiness, the Oneness and the most supreme existence of Allah (Subhanahu wa Taala)and to reflect His unlimited powers and boundless attributes through man, who was to be guided by the light of true knowledge.
It was impossible for man to understand and utilize that knowledge without his first being purified of Godlessness and impurity, Only after that purification is he to be decorated with fine virtues, excellence of conduct and the eventual capacity to act righteously. It was for this purpose of brining about this purity and power in the ranks of mankind that thousands of Ambiya and Rasools had been deputed by Allah (Subhanahu wa Taala), Then, last in the series came the Sayyid ul Anbiyaa wal Mursaleen (the greatest of all the Ambiya), Mohammed (Sallallaho Alaihi wassallam)....................

I am quoting from a book by a Scholar on these Six
qualities/points from portion of Eemaan.
(Six Points of Tabligh by Bilal MAlik Page no 5-6)

“Allah
the Exalted
has said: So, be assured that there is no god but Allah, and seek
forgiveness for your fault, and for (the faults of) the believing men and
believing women. And Allah knows your moving from place to place and your
permanent abode. (Qur’an, 47:19).
The
purpose of this Kalima is two fold. (i)That one
achieves yaqin [certainty] of the fact that whatever happens, happens with the
Will of Allah; that Allah is capable of doing – without any help whatsoever
from creation – anything and everything. Thereby achieving certainty that
the ghayr of Allah, that is all creation, cannot do anything without Allah’s
Will.
To become consciously aware of the fact that Allah is
al-Musabbib al-asbab [the Cause of causes]. To be certain that whatever
is happening through a “cause” is not in reality originating from it, but
rather, is happening only because Allah has willed it.
For example, water is dependant on the hukm [command] of Allah to quench thirst.
Also, to cure, medication is contingent on Allah’s hukm. Likewise, the human heart depends on the hukm of Allah to pulsate and nourish cells throughout the body. Similarly, without Allah commanding it to, the universe is devoid of any power or ability to exist.

This part of the purpose of the Kalima is known as “yaqinon ki tabdili” or the transformation of certainties [from al-khalq (the all creations) to al-Khaliq (the Creator Allah)].
And
(ii) to bring about certainty in one’s heart that success – in both temporal
and eternal worlds – is completely contingent on following the Blessed Way
[Sunna] of the Messenger of Allah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam for
Allah has said “Say”
[O Muhammad Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam to mankind]: “If ye love
Allah, follow me; Allah will love you…”
This certainty must be supported by the yaqin that any way other than the Sunna of the Messenger of Allah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam is, and leads to, failure. Allah the Exalted has said, "Truly, you have in the Messenger of Allah a most beautiful example for whoever seeks Allah and the Last Day..." 5 This second part of the purpose of the Kalima is called “tariqon ki tabdili” or the transformation of ways.”
These quotations and above mentioned words clearly proves that Tablighi Jamaat is very much concerened about Tawheed and correct and strong faith on the oneness of Allah and on correct Aqeedah.
INVESTIGATION
4.
Does Tabligh elders (Leaders) remain
concerned about the the importance of Eeman & Tawheed.
1. The revivalist of tableegh work in this form Moulana Muhammad
Ilyas (Ramatullahi Alayhi) [d.1944] have said;
“I have not given any name to this effort. If I had to give this work/movement a name I would have given it the name TEHREEK E IMAAN “The MOVEMENT OF IMAAN”.
2. M.Muhammad Ilyas (Ramatullahi Alayhi) expressing his concern for the Ummat and the objectives of this work states;
“The example of Deen and Eeman (Aqeedah/Faith) is liken to a rose plant. Whole tree of Islam [deen] is a plant whose stems, leaves and flowers have all died and has lost its value. However, when effort was made on its roots, that is Eeman it again blossomed and was admired by all.”
Maulana Ilyas said
“I have not given any name to this effort. If I had to give this work/movement a name I would have given it the name TEHREEK E IMAAN “The MOVEMENT OF IMAAN”.
2. M.Muhammad Ilyas (Ramatullahi Alayhi) expressing his concern for the Ummat and the objectives of this work states;

Maulana Ilyas said
“The object of this
work is to create zeal & thirst in the hearts of those who have no zeal
& thirst for Deen and its practices.
When this is created in them they will rush to the fountains of knowledge i.e. (to the Ulama, Madrasas and Khankas) to quench their thirst.”
“The actual aim of this work is to teach the Ummat everything with which Nabi (Sallallahu Alayhiwa Sallam) came with i.e. to get the Ummat attached a complete system of thought and practice of Islam”.
He writes in his
letters
“The
essence of Faith lies in Iman and Ihtisab. These are distinctly
mentioned in respect, of many act. To ponder over the commandments relating to
them, and, through it, to strengthen the awareness of the glory of the Lord and
belief in the worldly and heavenly rewards and benefits promised on those
deeds—that is the the inner understanding (Batin)
of deen"
“In
reality deeds are not the objective Rather compliance with Allah command with
full reverence and taking it as a means to be closer to Allah is the goal.
Realizing the importance of will and command of Allah and to devout in it is
the target.
In one of his
letter Maulana writes.
"We
should observe all the duties of worship and remembrance of Allah with a full
regard, faith and keeping eyes for the rules and proprieties and a complete
reliance upon the promises made on them by Allah. It is a great thing to
persuade ourselves to believe in those promises of Allah. Since it is related
to the heart, it occupies the place of the heart in the design of worship, and
spirituality is related to it."
With
this element of Eeman and Ihtasab one can make his life precious. Even the
Engagement of the worldly life, his daily routines and all these can become
worship with the quality of correction of intention and remembrance of Allah
promises. In the words of Maulana Ilyas.
“Allah
has inculcated and bounded these with the firm belief and attachment of Kalima
and to offer Salat with Khushu and Khuzuu (concentration
aand devotion). These are two important chapters to reach on Ikhlas and
Ihtasab. To engage in it will lead to the goal more easily compare to route of
Nawafil. The high way route to achieve is through compliance on Faraez
(Obligatory duties from Allah) the route through Nawafil is not that standard”
Maulana writes
in one of his letter
“The
propagation of Kalima of Allah and his Wahi
(Divine message) and its efforts should be should only be for pleasing Allah
with recognizing Allah as only doer and master (Maula). This effort should be accompanied with the intention of
Tausha e Akhirat. (preparation of life after death) . The special endorsement
of Allah is destined with this. And this VERSE ULAEKA YARJUNA RAHMATULLAH……..is
not the only witness rather hundreds of Ayats are also there.”
"Striving
for the glory of the Word of Allah and the propagation of the
Revelation
should solely be done in the spirit of compliance with His Will and for winning
His good pleasure and with the belief that it was going to be a provision for
the Hereafter. The favor promised by the Lord is related to such a life alone,
as is borne out by thousands of verses of the Quran like, Lo! Those who
believe, and those who emigrate (for the sake of God) and strive in the
way of Allah, these have
hope
of Allah's mercy. Allah is Forgiving, Merciful. (II: 218).
Maulana
writes in a letter.
“Only
on the order of Allah and having full trust on Allah to put your all effort
without much dependence on your experiences is the foundation of religion. As
you will start and progress Allah will show the path and will enlighten you.
And the benefit will be visible marked and apparent also. But when all will be
visble and apparent the weight of effort with respect to Ajar o Sawab (incentive by Allah) will decrease. The example of Ghazwa of Badar (Battle of Badr) is very
clear. There are more sacrifices after Badr but their reward is lesser compared
to Badar and before it.
Second
example is of Fateh Mecca (Makkah
victory). It is clear in Surah Hadeed ……………la yas tawi ………
Those
who are not aware of Full authority and power of Allah even if they do some
Endeavour for deen always keep eyes on their resources and abilities. And rule
from Allah is ………..Ana indazzanne abdi
bee
Whatever
you will be expecting from Allah he will give accordingly.
We
the simpleton (Person lacking common sense) always have expectation
proportional to our ability and effort and by this way decrease the benefit
bestow and grant of Almighty Allah.
The
actual way is to put your effort and strive with best of your ability and leave
the final result with Allah keeping in mind his mercy La UZEEU AJRAL MUHSINEEN……………
and limitless power.
As
far as putting your ability and resources are concerned it should be with full
vigor so much so that people may call you jununi
(over-enthusiastic/crazy).
In
this path If you will yourself as worthless it is actually your survival and
this will give you a sweet feeling. But people practicing all above are rare.”

has kept the secret of total success of human beings upon the human's internal
treasures, success and failure is another name for the human internal
condition. Success and failure is not a name of external shapes and objects.
Dignity and dishonour, happiness and problems, tranquillity and anxiety, health
and disease, are human being's internal conditions. The improvement and
deterioration of these conditions is not related to external shapes and
materials. Allah can bring disgrace even in the presence of kingdom and wealth,
and he can bring honour even in the state of dire poverty. A human's internal
treasure is his yaqeen (Faith), and his a’mal (action); if his inner actions
are good then Allah will create a state of inner success, even if material
possession is totally exhausted. Allah is the creator and owner of everything and
every being of this universe. He made everything with his own power. Everything
has been created by Allah. He is the creator and he is not created. And whoever
is created is incapable of creating. Whatever is made by Allah is under
Allah’s. He owns everything. He uses everything and Allah can change shapes of
everything by his power and he can change their qualities without changing
their shapes. He can change a stick into a snake and a snake into a stick.
Similarly he controls everything whether land (kingdom) or wealth, electrical
or gaseous. He uses these things as he likes. He can bring about destruction
from the means of creations and he can show creation from the means of
destruction. He runs the system of sustenance. If he wishes he can sustain somebody
in a barren desert without any source of material and he can spoil life even in
the midst of plenty of materials. The prophet hadhrat Muhammad S.A.W brought
many ways from Allah by which one can gain closeness with Allah and one can
derive benefit directly from the power of Allah. When these ways are adopted in
our life, Allah will grant success in every shape and condition. La ilaha
illallah demands a change of our faith and zazba, (thoughts, temperament), and
our ways. Just by changing the yaqeen (faith) Allah has promised a paradise
many times the size of this universe. Allah will subdue (bring under our
control) all those materials from which we have changed our faith.
To
acquire this yaqeen in our life:
1. We have to invite (dawaah) others for
this yaqeen. Explain the greatness of Allah and explain the kudrat (power) of Allah.
To describe his Power (the total sustenance and maintenance power) we will have
to relate incidents from the lives of the prophets and companions.
2. We will have to think about it in solitude
and get this same yaqeen to enter in our heart, to which we gave dawaah in
gatherings. That is the truth.
3. And then we have to cry to Allah, beg
him to grant us the reality of this yaqeen.

An Specific Allegation About Neglect OF 3 Types Of Tawheed ?
Some Muslim make a claim that tablighi jamaat describe about Tawhid Ar-Rububiyyah but does not clearly tells separately about Tawhid Ar-Rububiyyah, Tawhid Al-Uluhiyyah and Tawheed Asma o Sifat .
Notes on Categorization classification of three Types of
Tawheed
Ibn Abi Al Izz Al Damishqi (D 792 A.H.) in
his Famous Sharah Aqeedatut Tahawi has classified it into two
1.
Tawheed-al-ilahiyyah
2.
Tawheed-ar-rububiyyah
Some
Other Scholars has divided into three categories.
1.
Tawheed
ul-Uluhiyyah/Ibaadah
2.
Tawheed-ar-rububiyyah
3. Tawheed-al-Asmaat wa-Sifaat
3. Tawheed-al-Asmaat wa-Sifaat
Here It is to be clarified that ........
This division of Tawheed into two/three is not from The Prophet of Allah or from Sahaba Karam. Although meaning of all is established from Quran and Hadith.
2.
3. 2. These classification has been done by scholars for better and easy understanding purpose. Validity of classification is accepted by Scholars.
4.
5. 3. One must not get confused about there being three types/categories of Tawheed of Allah. Essentially all categories fall within the single term of Tawheed. Rather all the categories are all connected to Allah only Simple word Tawheed also encompass all these
6.
4. Sahabas did not use these classification of 2-3 types of Tawheed but their Tawheed was most strong. So it wrong to claim that anybody who does not use these terms his Emaan will be weak.
Ibn Abi Al Izz Al Damishqi (D 792 A.H.) in his Famous Sharah Aqeedatut Tahawi has
classified it into two
1. Tawheed-al-ilahiyyah, or the belief in the unity of God the oneness of His
Godhead, that Allah alone is to be worshiped, and no one else is to be
worshiped.and matters concerning to attributes of Allah .
2. Tawheed-ar-rububiyyah (the oneness of His
Lordship), which states that Allah alone
create everything; and hold everything.
Some Other Scholars has divided into three categories.
Some Other Scholars has divided into three categories.
1. Tawheed
ul-Uluhiyyah/Ibaadah (Tawheed of Worship)
Tawheed of Worship means that all acts of worship belong to
Allah alone, and no one else. All acts of worship Ibadah are purely and
sincerely for Allah, not for idols, not for any Prophet, not for any Aulia
Allah ,not for the universe, not for anything except the one Allah.
2. Tawheed-al-Rubbubiyyah
(Tawheed of Lordship)
Tawheed of Lordship means that you believe that there is
only one God, namely Allah, and that there are no other gods or
goddesses. All form of Ibadah and Worship is only for Allah. It also means that
all power, creation, and such things belong to Allah alone, for instance Allah
alone is the creator of everything we see around us, and it is he who is in
full control of them, and it is he who controls life and death and all such
matters, and not anyone including our money/Position/ materialistic
resources/worldpowers or any human or devine help other than Allah else.
3. Tawheed-al-Asmaat wa-Sifaat
(Tawheed of Allah's names and Attributes).
Tawheed al-Asmaat wa-Sifaat is the Tawheed of Allah's
unique and exclusive Names and Attributes, this means a Muslim affirms a Name
of Allah, and affirms that this Name is unique and exclusive to Allah alone,
not for anyone else, and not for anyone else to be named with.
For example one of Allah's names is the All Knowing, this
Name is unique for him alone because Allah is the only one who is All Knowing,
and perfect in his knowledge, there is no created being who has such an
attribute. The same applies to all of Allah's names, they are unique for him
alone, and not for others.
Discussion.
It is true that General Muslims in Tablighi Jamaat in general do not use these term of Rububiyyah ,Al-Uluhiyyah and Asma o Sifat and the classification of three types of tawheed.
It is true that General Muslims in Tablighi Jamaat in general do not use these term of Rububiyyah ,Al-Uluhiyyah and Asma o Sifat and the classification of three types of tawheed.
But They tells Tauheed in most emphatic term includes all three
types and everything about tauheed. They don’t use the classification and term
but they tell all about Tawheed. There Scholars like Maulana Saad, Maulan
Ibraheem, Maulan Ahmad Laat, Maulana Mustqeem,Maulana Tariq Jameel and
uncountable other Ulemas at state level describe all about Tawheed without
doing any classification or taking any name of types like Rububiyyah Uluhiyyah
and Asma was Sifat.
In
Tabligh there are People of different caliber and Knowledge ranging from
Mufti and Alim scholars like Mufti Mahmoodul Hassn, Maulana Yusuf kandhalvi and
Maulana Saeed Ahmad Khan and Maulana Umar Palanpuri Rahimullah to simple
people who even learn Attahiyat and four Surah and start from Tajweed and
kalima or may be learning reading Quran.
So
depending on this their level of knowledge scholary talk and refrence to
quranic ayats and ahadith will certainly differ.
And this was normal even at the time of sahaba. Some Sahaba were very big Alim like Hazrat Abukar,Umar,Ali ,abdullah ibne massod, abdullah ibne abbas and others RAZIALLAH ANHUMA AJMAEEN but MOST OTHER sahaba were ordinary muslim not Master of knowledge. Terminologies role is there but the faith and Emaan should be strong and correct that is foremost.
But
What general Muslims of Tabligh say in talks Bayan with simple sentences and
words also touch Full sphere of Tawheed. There common sentences are.
a. They say “No one any creation any Human being can help other
than Allah. If Allah decides to keep in loss/make unsuccessful no creation any
superpower, money,wealth can save”.
b. They say “They say “Only Allah is the master of all happening.
If he wills to give benefit/ make successful all the powers and superpowers
cannot prevent it”.
c. They say “We should have yaqeen (Faith) that unless Allah wills
any human being, any relation, any position, any degree, any amount of
wealth, cannot help.
d. They say “Allah can bring disgrace even in the presence of
kingdom and wealth, and he can bring honour even in the state of dire poverty.
Success is not in Kingship as Firaun (Pharao) failed in kingship, not in wealth
as Qarun failed in wealth.”
They
always talk referring about the power of Allah.
He is
unique in his quality and that only Allah has to be prayed and worshiped.
He
is seeing everything. He is free from any help. All are his creation No
one is like him. Help and benefit only Allah can give. So they donot use the
term but they mention everything about it.

The sheikh write
“I say, indeed that
sometimes Tableeghi Jamaat don't exclusively use the terms and point out that
this is Rubobiyah and this Uluhiyyah but these people describe, explain and
expound upon the intention behind them because sincerity of intention (and
exclusion towards Allah (SWT)) is part of their principles and it is indeed
Uluhiyyah and all matters should actions of the bondsmen should be exclusive
towards Allah (SWT) and when you go out of them you will notice that their
invocations and acts (of worship) don't extend beyond the bounds of Uluhiyyah
and they are extremely desirous that their actions must conform to the sayings
and actions of Sayyidina Rasul-ullah (Sallaho Alaihe Wassallam) and to deviate
from it (at all).
[2:269] He gives wisdom
to whom He wills...
Those who spend time with
these Daees, becomes familiar with their circumstances, recognises their
methodology, if not overcome with the desires of the Nafs and external factors
and is desirous (to seek) the truth will witness many astonishing matters e.g.
how Eemaan is strengthened and how people accept their words so his heart
shouldn't have any doubt that Allah (SWT) has granted Hikamh in their Dawah. It
is from wisdom that sincere intention should be made and some time should be
spared from daily chores of life to seek the pleasure of Allah (SWT) and to
seek permanent abode of the hereafter and to seek personal reformation (and
that of others) and alongside it sincerely beg and beseech Allah (SWT) to grant
us and the whole Ummah, guidance.
It doesn't mean that
those going in the path of Allah (SWT) abandons his family and children or
opposes the parents or disregards his livelihood but he organises his affairs
just like a businessman or the one travelling (for medical treatment) arranges
his program (when travelling).
There are (many) who are unfamiliar with this work even amongst
practising Muslims and they look at this (going out) in astonishment and
consider this an innovation in religion and a waste of time,
when in reality this is neither a waste of time nor an innovation.
In fact this (methodology)
is based on wisdom which is necessary for the reformation of the believers
because going out is hard against the Nafs because this work requires certain
sacrifices which are to endure hardships by letting go of comforts and to
separate oneself from family (and loved ones) and to endure the sacrifice of
wealth, time and effort.
The purpose of this work
is that the one going out in the path of Allah (SWT) should perform Jihad
against his Nafs, Shaytaan and this world (Dunya) until this religion and
hereafter becomes dearer to him and the pleasure of Allah (SWT) becomes
foremost. Sayyidina Rasul-ullah (Sallaho Alaihe Wassallam) endured a lot of
hardship during this (Dawah) trip to Taif, and 70 of his Qari companions who
were sent to various Arab tribes for Dawah were murdered (by deception)”

Question: What is Tablighi Jamaat Stand on clear or implied
Grave worship/ Shirk on the Graves of Aulia Allah, and Similar Practices.?
The approach of Tablighi
Jamaat from Quran and Hadith
Tablighi Jamaat adopt
softness and conciliatory attitude with wisdom.
They
a.
Try to remove all Bidah ,Shirk from the society
b.
Are against grave worship in all forms
c.
Do Nahi Anil Munkar,
d.
Try to eradicate the sins,
with the soft,
lenient and conciliatory approach.
They have evidence for
this soft approach in Quran and Hadith. They say that aim is correction
not blame game on fellow Muslims. So try to bring Muslim
away with positive Dawat of Tawheed. Make them understand to all muslims that
biggest caller and Savior of Tawheed was our prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam
(Note: Tablighi Jamaat is not telling that to be harsh on
Shirk or bidats is wrong. Rather to be harsh is also an approach depending on
situation and acceptability of person to be corrected.
TJ is not objecting interfering to those who want to be
harsh.
Tablighi Jamaat
methodology has very strong support in Quran and Hadith.
When Allah (SWT) sent
Sayyidina Musa (AS) to Fir'aun he was commanded
[[20:44] So speak to
him in soft words. May be, he accepts the advice or fears (Allah).
(No Muslim
group/Person is as bad as Firaun (Pharao) and no Daee/person who has come for
correction is as good as Sayyidina Musa (AS) who was a prophet.)
And Allah (SWT) states:
[16:125] Invite
(people) to the way of your Lord with wisdom and good counsel. And argue with
them in the best of manners...
[3:159] So, (O
Prophet) it is through mercy from Allah that you are gentle to them. Had you
been rough and hard-hearted, they would have dispersed from around you...
Narrated by Aisha: Allah's Apostle (peace be upon him) said:
Kindness is not to be found in anything but that it adds to its beauty and it
is not withdrawn from anything but it makes it defective. [Muslim]
Maulana Umar Palanpuri Rahimullah of Markaz Nizamuddin has said
that we don’t object to those who are adopting harsh Methodology against Bidat
o Shirk. We simply say it is our Methodology against Bidat and Shirk.
Allah
has opened the Hikmat on Ulema and Mashaikh and only Allah is the doer.)
This question about Methodology was asked When
Maulana Umar Palanpuri met sheikh hammad ibne Muhammad al Ansari great
Muhaddith of blessed city of Madeenah
in the presence of the top Scholars Shaykhs, the
Fuqha jurist Great Ulema , the religious Qazis and Judges of Madeenah Munawwara
Saudi Arab.
Before
initiating his reply Maulana Umar told that
I am telling our methodology..... If it is wrong you
are great scholars ....please suggest and we will change it as you will advice
Maulana Umar Palanpuri Narrated his own Karguzari about
how he worked and brought people from midst of grave worship from a famous
grave of India.
And he described whole story of his own. He described in detail
and the methodology wisdom and Hikmat adopted for this job….
After this Maulana Umar Palanpuri Rahimullah said to
all scholars and Ulema this our methodology and …….. if it is wrong. You are Ulema
and Fuqha Muhaddith please correct us.
All the
Ulemas of blessed city of Madeena started crying.
They
said, Today Truth has been revealed and confusion cleared.
And Sheikh Hammad ibne Muhammad al Ansari told his
student sheikh Khalilur Rahman that next time I will also accompany you in
going in the path of Allah in Jamaat. His student sheikh Khalilur Rahman was an
active dawah worker.

The
sheikh write
It becomes apparent from the criticism (towards Tableeghi Jamaat) of our brothers that they think that the correct methodology for Dawah is the one based on harshness, strict measures and softness and conciliation shouldn't be adopted towards those (being invited) and they consider adopting softness and conciliatory attitude to be against wisdom and they expect everyone to agree with them and those who disagree are labelled to be as careless in forbidding the evil. We wish for such people to understand and accept the soft, lenient and conciliatory approach of their (Tableeghi) brothers because when Allah (SWT) sent Sayyidina Musa (AS) to Fir'aun he was commanded:
[[20:44] So speak to him in soft words.
May be, he accepts the advice or fears (Allah).

To summarize and to conclude we say about Tablighi Jamaat
Methodology against Bidat Shirk and for doing Nahi Anil Munkar.
1. All
Muslims are our brothers/sisters and we will reach to them with love
passion....This was the method of our beloved prophet Sallallahu Alaihi
Wasallam.)
2. Tablighi
Jamaat Methodology is based on “our aim is correction and not the
talk/criticism/blame game of
fellow Muslim Brother.”
3. They try
to bring every one with positive Dawat of Tawheed and Risalt o Akhirat towards
the way of Allah.
4. They
convince to make understand all muslims that biggest caller and Savior of
Tawheed was our beloved prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam .So those who love
prophet most their tawheed should be most strong. And those whose Tawheed is
strong their love for prophet should be most as explained in Hadith of Bukhari.
(Related with Hazrat Umar R.A.)
5. Similarly They
explain that all the Aulia Allah were the caller of Tawheed and were against
any type of Bidat and Shirk or Bidah practices at Graves. Just name any Aulia
Allah e.g.Hazrat Abdul Qadir Jeelani Rahimullah,Imam Hasan Basri, Hazrat Ahmad
sarhindi (Mujaddid Al Fasani Rahmatullah) Moinuddin Chishti
Rahimullah, and Nizamuddin Aulia Rahimullah Bkhtiyar Kaki Rahmatullah,
Sharfuddin Yahya Maneri Rahimullah

2.
It is common observation in India pakistan and
Bangladesh that where Tabligh work is strong Bidats and bidats practices at

3.
So Tabligh wants business and correction and not the

Allegation of grave worship on Tablighi Jamaat
.......................Group/so called scholar of that
group is claiming that Tablighi Jamaat is Grave worshipper. And Tablighi jamaat

If you will ask how it is ????????????????
Wallah !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
If you will ask how it is ????????????????
They will reply
"Do you not know that the grave
of the founder of this jamaa’ah is inside of masjid?"
Yes ,I know that the prophet Hazrat
Mohammed ﷺ(sallallahu alaihi wasallam) grave is also inside of prophet ﷺ mosque in
Madeena.
And Hazrat Abu Bakar and Hazrat Umar grave is also there.
And Hazrat Abu Bakar and Hazrat Umar grave is also there.
There are two different things
1. Mosque
2. Mosque Compound
Mosque compound may have toilets,bath
rooms,car parking ,kitchen etc.................
In Markaz nazamuddin mosque compound
so many things............2-3 Big Ablution pound..............Hundreds of
Toilets .............Hundreds of Bath Room..............Space for Kitchen,
Store room...............There also on a rear end graves of Maulana Ilyas and
some other people.
These graves was actually away from masjid and outside the compound.
But because place was not sufficient the masjid compound was extended and the graves came in the masjid compound. But not in Masjid.
the position of grave is completely outside area where masjid is located. it is present in the extreme back corner of compound.

Even in Masjide Nabvi there are graves
of proiphet and Khulfa e Rashedin.
The Messenger Muhammad (peace and
blessings of Allaah be upon him) and his two companions [Abu Bakr and ‘Umar]
(may Allaah be pleased with them) were not buried in the mosque,
rather they were buried in the house
of ‘Aa’ishah,Raziallahu Anha but when the mosque was expanded the room was
incorporated into the mosque compound, at the end of the first century AH.
This action does not come under the ruling
of burial in the mosque, because the Messenger ﷺ (peace and
blessings of Allaah be upon him) and his two companions were not moved to the
land of the mosque, rather the room in which they are buried was incorporated
into the mosque compound because of the expansion.
Situation of graves in Nizamuddin is very less compared to Masjid e Nabwiﷺ..................It is one of the rear end on east side in a closed room that remain closed....................for 24*7 and 365 days....................................
No one even cares or know about graves
it is a closed walled. Even if you remain there for days you may not see/aware
with them.....................
