Thanvi, Maulana Zafar Ahmad Usmani (RAHMATULLAHLLAH A'LAIHE)

d. Ziqa'ad 23, 1394H/ December 9,1974.
He was a great Scholar who has written books like
1. Tasheel Bayanul Quran
2. Maqalat e Usmani
3. Imdadul Ahkam.
He was an early associate of the work of Tableegh, and remained with Hazrat Maulana Muhammad IIyas (RAHMATULLAHLLAH A'LAIHE) in
the days of his last illness.
He was the son of Maulana Ashraf Ali Thanvi's (RAHMATULLAHLLAH A'LAIHE) sister (Bhanja).
He contributed a lot in inclining the ulama
community Towards the work of Tableegh.
4th chapter of book Reflection of Maulana Ilyas contains the sayings contributed by him.
