The Masjid After Ramzan: Islamic Poem, Please remind yourself and Family, friends .your city and all mankind for Salat/Namaz Quran Ayah Surah Ibraheem verse 40 Arabic text and english translation

The Masjid After Ramadan
By Naeem Nasrullah

NAMAZ /SALAH is so important that even Prophet is praying for becoming establisher of Salat...........
Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala quoted in Quran supplication of Ibrahim 'alaihis salam as:
o My Rabb! Make me an establisher of Salat, and from my descendents also. Our Rabb! And accept my Du'a (supplication). Ibrahim 14: 40

Please be continue for regular Prayer after Ramzan Also......Requesting for Dua.
Ramadan came and the masjid brimmed with joy
from daybreak to sunset, men, women, and children overflowed its sacred halls
light emanated out from their ardent worship
magnificent chandeliers adorned the uplifted roof
perfectly straight and still rows stretched out far and wide
a mesmerizing recitation of the Quran marvelously glided through
encompassing their bodies and seizing their hearts
and unleashing the blessings of the Most Bountiful
the masjid gloated, beaming with praise and hope
when Ramadan ended, the masjid lamented and wept
its Eid was no Eid
its happiness was gone
its light was replaced by a gloomy darkness
for all those who visited it
had suddenly deserted it
perfectly content with their performance in Ramadan
they saw no further need to come back
they could happily chase after the pleasures they had missed out in Ramadan
and as I gaze now,
the masjid is silent as a mortuary
mourning without wailing
peaceful as waves breaking on a shore
lights reminiscent of the full moon shining down upon a vast desert
shadows abound,
of the door knobs peeking down
of the window grids forming black holes in the carpet
the people are gone
a feeling of emptiness overwhelms
how many vacant spots are there
beseeching, pleading for a worshipper
to come and connect his soul with the Almighty
to earn eternal success
how many mushafs are there
wishing they were being read by a sincere heart
why do not the people reform
why do they stubbornly persist in answering the calls of ignorance
why do they ignore the call of their Lord
why do they neglect the masjid except at Ramadan
alas, the masjid is there waiting, peacefully and silently for them to come
its looming, heavy silence is its tears
for it has to wait one long and dry year until the next Ramadan
when the people will finally come back
so it can be restored to its glory
and to its original purpose - in the service of its Creator.

virtue of salat Fazail e Namaz Quranic Ayats and Ahadith

virtue of salat

Allah SWT says: Verily Salat restrains (oneself) from immorality and all that is forbidden. (al-ankabut 29:45)

Allah SWT says: Indeed, those who believe and do righteous deeds, and establish Salat and give Zakat; their reward is with their Rabb (Sustainer &Cherisher), and neither fear shall come upon them, nor will they grieve (al-baqarah 2:277)

Allah SWT said to His prophet SAW: Perform salat from midday till the darkness of the night (i.e. Zuhr, 'Asr, Maghrib and 'Isha prayers) and recite the Quran in the early dawn (i.e. the morning prayer). Verily, the recitation of the Quran in the early dawn is witnessed (by angels) (al-isra 17:78)

Allah SWT says: O you who believe! When the Adhan is called for the prayer on the day of Jumu'ah (Friday), then hasten to the remembrance of Allah and leave all trading (and other engagements) aside. That is better for you, if you but knew. (al-jumu'ah 62:9)

Abdullah Ibne Umar RA narrates that Rasulullah SAW said: Islam has been built upon five pillar: 1) To testify that none is worthy of worship but Allah and that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah, 2) to establish Salat, 3) to give zakat, 4) to perform Hajj, and 5) to fast (Saum) in the Ramadhan. (bukhari)

Jabir ibne Umar RA narrates that Nabi SAW said: The key to paradise is Salat and the key to Salat is Wudu. (Musnad Ahmad)

Importance of Salah/Namaz with Imam Jamaat/congregational prayer

Importance of Salah with Jamaat (Congregation)
We all know Salah is a pillar of Islam and on the Day of Judgement the account for the prayers will have to be rendered first.

But what is said regarding the performance of salâh at home as opposed to performing it at the mosque with the congregation?

The Divine instruction is, “And bow your head with those who bow (in worship)”

(Surah Baqarah 43)

The message in this verse is crystal clear, that perform the salâh with congregation. Prayer surpasses the love of the lone man’s prayer by twenty-seven ranks in excellence.
(Sahih Bukhari & Muslim)

PROPHET'S STATEMENT

The Holy Prophet has also stated: “It better to join another person and pray than to pray alone and it is more superior in the company of two men and the bigger the congregation the more liked it is by Allah.”
(Abu Dawûd)

The Holy Prophet says in another tradition: “He who attended the congregation for Isha prayer, he received the reward of half the nights worship and he who attended both Isha and Fajr prayer with the congregation he received the reward of the whole nights worship.”
(Tirmidhi)

IMPORTANCE OF SALAH

The Prophet , himself never omitted even a single congregational prayer. Even in his sickness, it was strenuous for him to walk; nonetheless, with the aid of two of his companions he came (while his auspicious feet were dragging on the ground) to the mosque and prayed with the congregation.

Once the Holy Prophet was constrained to say: “I intend to tell the Muazzin (person who calls the Azaan) to call out the takbir and ask someone to lead the prayer and I myself set the house of that person on fire who did not attended the congregational prayer.”
(Bukhari & Muslim)

The merciful Prophet proposes a punishment for those who do not attend the congregational prayer at the mosque, even though they perform them at home. One should ponder and be warned as regards to those who do not attend the congregational prayer at the mosque.

THE POWER OF SALAH

Shah Waliullah Muhaddith of Dehli says: “By establishing this divine purpose is nothing but that Allah’s superiority may be established and no other faith on the surface of the earth may be superior to the Islamic faith. But this can be conceived only when it may be the Ummah regular practice that the elite as well as the common run of the city folk as well as the villagers and the young as well as the old assemble daily for that worship which is the greatest sign of the faith and the most famous among all the devotions.”

EFFECT OF SALAH

An eminent American Sociologist and Physiologist, Mr Denison has written in his book ‘Emotion as the basis of civilization’, “Historians have wondered at the phenomenal success of Islam in conquering the world and have attributed it to the unity and solidity Islam has engaged among its adherents, but no historian he says could solve the riddle as to how this came to pass.”

Mr Denison says that he has no the least doubt that a great and very effective means of this is the congregational prayer.

SALAH'S BENEFITS

We can deduce from this, that if the Muslim masses were performing prayers with the congregation regularly we would not be in the sorry state that we find ourselves in today.

We should try and pray all our five times Salâh with the congregation in the mosque, and if possible we should try to be as close to the Imâm as possible, because the first row is superior to the second and thereafter.

The Holy Prophet states in the Hadith: “If you were to know the reward in performing the prayer in the first row, you would fight amongst yourselves to stand in the first row.”

Hence, we can see why it is necessary that we perform the five times daily prayers with the congregation in the mosque.

May Allah give us all the ability to perform our prayers with the congregation in the mosque.

SALAT IN COGREGATION

Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported that: The Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said: "The reward for Salat performed by a person in congregation is more than 20 times greater than that of the Salat performed in one's house or shop. When one performs Wudu' perfectly and then proceeds to the mosque with the sole intention of performing Salat, then for every step he takes towards the mosque, he is upgraded one degree in
reward and one of his sins is eliminated until he enters the mosque, and when he enters the mosque, he is considered as performing Salat as long as it is the Salat which prevents him (from leaving the mosque); and the angels keep on supplicating Allah for him as long as he remains in his place of prayer. They say: 'O Allah! have mercy on him; O Allah! forgive his sins; O Allah! accept his repentance'. This will carry on as long as he does not pass wind".
[Al-Bukhari and Muslim].

This Hadith shows that although it is permissible to perform Salat individually in market places and houses, but its collective performance in the mosque is 25,or 27 times more meritorious, as mentioned in other Ahadith.
